How accurate is any AI detector?
No detector is definitive. They read statistical patterns, so heavily edited AI text can pass and plain human text can be flagged — especially non-native English. Use the score as a signal, never as proof.
Why does my own writing get flagged?
Uniform sentence length, formal connectives and low vocabulary variety all look machine-like. Varying rhythm and adding concrete detail usually drops the score more than swapping synonyms.
How much text do I need?
Forty words is the minimum for a meaningful score; two hundred or more makes it stable. Below that, one unusual sentence swings the whole result.
